PIKOTW, the record
Independent releases in English and Cantonese — and the production, writing and sync work that comes with actually knowing how to make them.

The other side of a working day
Released independently, in English and Cantonese. Not the business, and I am not going to dress it up as one. Drag it about.
A side project I take seriously
PIKOTW is also a recording name. It isn't the business and I'm not going to dress it up as one — it's what happens on the other side of a working day, released independently as a steady run of singles — pop, dance, electronic, cinematic, the occasional deliberately daft one — in English and Cantonese.
Songs about life as it actually feels: the good stretches, the difficult ones, and the decision to keep moving. Some of it is sincere. Some of it is deliberately not, and I'd rather say that than pretend the whole catalogue is one thing.
The production and writing skills are real and occasionally useful to other people. Sync, scoring for video work, and mix help are all things I'll take on — and for businesses, custom brand music: intro and outro themes, social-media tracks for Reels and TikTok, and soundtracks for the kind of hospitality films the Media side of PIKOTW shoots. One person: the film and its music.
Mostly, though, this pillar earns its place as proof: everything here goes from concept to release by one pair of hands — writing, production, artwork, distribution, marketing. The same end-to-end creative discipline runs through every other page on this site.
Where the music side is genuinely for hire
Licensing existing tracks
Original catalogue, one-stop cleared — master and publishing in a single signature, which matters if you've ever tried to clear a song the other way. Direct licensing, no publisher in the middle.
Scoring & commissions
Bespoke music written for a specific piece of video work — brand films, campaign themes, intros and outros, social-media tracks — usually cheaper and cleaner than licensing something famous.
Production, mix & mastering
Songwriting, arrangement, mixing and mastering for other independent artists.
Need music for something?
Sync, an original score, or a mix that isn't sitting right. Happy to talk either way.
